About CHC Ohio

Community Health Charities is a federation of America's premier health organizations that have joined together to raise charitable contributions in the workplace. Employee donations are used to support these member charities and provide research, patient services and outreach in local communities. Employees designate the charity or charities where they want their donations to go, and that’s where they go.

By partnering with local employers, Community Health Charities connects employees to health and wellness information, volunteer opportunities and the ability to direct donations to the local health charities of their choice. We currently provide access to more than 71 local charities, encompassing almost every well-known disease or disability and many lesser-known ones.

Our Mission

Community Health Charities of Ohio is to enhance the operations, programs, and services of its member health-related charities through access to workplace giving and to provide employees at work sites access to the full range of information, services and referrals provided by member charities, in order to improve the health and well-being of employees and to encourage community involvement.

Our Objective
Community Health Charities of Ohio has one objective in mind when talking with employers and their employees about charitable giving. That is to promote the opportunity to choose the agencies that will receive your donation.
Workplace giving programs offer employers, employees and member agencies a cost-effective and efficient way to support vital services in their community.

Through an expanded workplace campaign:

More charitable dollars are raised with expanded choices
Employees learn about resources in their community
Dedication to support the community is promoted by the employer
Local health and research charities receive vital support for their services
Campaign costs are reduced and more charitable dollars reach member charities

Our Local Charities

Community Health Charities of Ohio currently supports 71 local health charities, all of which are doing important work to improve the health and quality of life of those living in Ohio . It is likely that every employee – or someone they know or love – has been affected by at least one of these worthy causes.

Board of Directors

Community Health Charities of Ohio is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization. The Board of Directors is made up of community volunteers from the business and non-profit arena.

The professional staff of Community Health Charities is here to help your organization in any way, from sharing health and wellness information and community involvement opportunities with employees to running a successful workplace giving campaign.
